Olympic Success

We have worked with many elite and professional athletes, from martial arts to cycling, from athletics to fencing.

In our view the majority of the work is mental not physical.

If you have never trained at an elite level, this may seem surprising.

However think for a few minutes of what goes into the one day of competition.

There is logistics to get you and your team there optimally ready to compete.

There is weeks, months and years of training to get to the point of competition.

There is funding for the venture through self, friends/family, sponsors and grants.

There is the drive to push on during injury and failure.

No one has ever gone off and become elite world beating on their first try, everyone starts with a first step (or crawl).

You must see it first.

When fencing training many years ago, we spent hours having “virtual matches”, imaging and creating the future before we moved to action.

With Tai Chi, there is a meditative quality that produces the most amazing martial artists on earth once mastered.

One of our clients who only trains professionals asks “How good do you want to be?” and if they don’t say the number one in the world, won’t work with them, as he knows that their focus is of, and if they are not aiming to win now, it will never work down the road.

Luck will favour the prepared mind.

We have the pleasure to have been supporting several of the Olympic athletes and Olympic process.

Right now, we are not known as the world’s best sprinters. However if we wanted to be, we would need to focus not on “racing Usain Bolt”, but leaving him and others behind. If you know Usain then that may seem impossible, and can you see how if you’re thinking that, you have already lost?

Creating a Vision for yourself and your venture that is expanded beyond what you think is possible so that is truly inspiring while ensuring grounded in reality is something that the VSO™ Strategist using our proprietary technologies is the best placed in the world to do. It’s one of our core competencies and USPs.

Some have great success on the day, others are facing unpredictable injuries from the last weeks of training.

Either way, there is one aspect that is key – Their Mindset and Vision.

We’ve competed and won golds ourselves, and this is not to brag but to inspire you.

If you don’t know the names yet get to know Pete Reed, Andrew Triggs Hogg, Alex Gregory & Tom James and their story. Get behind the story of how Usain Bolt, Rob Reed, Eamonn Madden or Zara Hohn became who they are.

Right now you can commit to go for gold. When you do, we’ll be here to help.

Now get clear on the Vision you want to go for, commit and take the first step.
